The Huawei P9 Plus carries the same Leica-branded dual 12 MP rear camera as the standard P9, pairing an RGB sensor with a dedicated monochrome sensor (both f/2.2) to boost detail and low-light gathering, though it lacks optical image stabilization. Video tops out at 1080p30 and there is no 4K, but the camera app supports DNG RAW capture and full manual (Pro) controls, which made it a capable enthusiast shooter for its 2016 era. The 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED adds pressure-sensitive Press Touch, while imaging is otherwise limited by the single focal length and absence of any telephoto or ultrawide.
