The 2014 Galaxy S5 pairs a 16MP 1/2.6" ISOCELL sensor with phase-detection autofocus (one of the first on a Samsung flagship) and real-time HDR, but it lacks optical image stabilization, which arrived only with the S6. It shoots 4K/30fps and 1080p/60fps video and adds an IP67-rated body, though there is no dedicated telephoto or ultra-wide lens. With no native RAW capture in the stock camera, its imaging appeal today is largely historical.
