The iPhone 15 brings the 48MP main camera (f/1.6, 1/1.56" sensor, sensor-shift OIS) down from the Pro line, enabling 24MP default output and a 2x in-sensor crop that functions as a quasi-telephoto despite the lack of a dedicated tele lens. It pairs that with a 12MP ultrawide and a 12MP f/1.9 front camera, shooting up to 4K60 Dolby Vision HDR. Note that ProRAW and Apple Log remain Pro-exclusive, so serious stills and video shooters give up RAW capture and flat log profiles on the base model.
