📖 Overview
The Galaxy Note 8 was Samsung's first phone with a dual rear camera, pairing a 12MP f/1.7 wide (1/2.55", dual-pixel PDAF, OIS) with a 12MP f/2.4 2x telephoto that also gets OIS — unusual for 2017 — enabling Live Focus portrait blur. It shoots 4K at 30fps and supports RAW (DNG) capture through the Pro mode, fronted by an 8MP f/1.7 autofocus selfie camera. The large 6.3" QHD+ Super AMOLED panel makes it a capable reviewing and editing surface for its era, though it predates high-refresh displays and log video.
