The Pixel 3 XL stuck with a single 12.2MP f/1.8 rear camera (1/2.55" sensor, OIS) and proved that Google's computational photography could outshoot multi-lens rivals, with Night Sight, HDR+ and Super Res Zoom doing the heavy lifting. It captures DNG RAW for editing latitude and shoots 4K at 30fps. A dual 8MP front array (standard wide plus a 19mm ultrawide) made it a standout for group selfies in its era.
